DeleteMy mom used to make me a birthday cake that she called Millionaires Chocolate Cake - it was rich and fudgy (almost like a brownie), and covered in the most amazing cream cheese frosting. Yum!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds incredible. You had me at Millionaire...and rich and fudgy sealed the deal!
DeleteCupcakes are my fave Bday dessert
ReplyDeleteLove them! I work with someone who makes AMAZING cupcakes. I keep telling her to start blogging about them! Cupcakes are great, and you can get so creative with them!
DeleteMy favorite birthday dessert is a devil's food chocolate cake that my mom makes

DeleteOh that's an easy one - Truffle Frambois (http://www.extraordinarydesserts.com/truffeFramboise.htm). We call it death cake amongst ourselves. Hands down the best dessert ever.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! That looks AMAZING!!!
DeleteI always request apple pie on my bday!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Kelly! I love apple pie :-)
DeleteHappy birthday! Is it ridiculous that I am a baker myself but I recently requested a DQ cake for my birthday? Something about it screams childhood and makes me feel wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is anything wrong with that at all!! We had DQ ice cream cake for dessert tonight!
DeleteGrowing up, for birthday parties, we used to alllways get ice cream cakes from Dairy Queen, mmm...
ReplyDeleteCheesecake, I just love Cheesecake!!!
