Good morning everyone, and a Happy Sunday to you!  How has your weekend been?  Ours has been great!  Hockey started yesterday for our 6 year old (season 2) and he is so very excited.  Which is good, because he isn't a big fan of swimming lessons (also on Saturday mornings) - but since we live in a city surrounded by lakes, our kids must take swimming lessons.  Later today we are back to the hockey rink for another practice...and the rest of our day will be spent hanging out together.  Love Sundays!

Hello everyone, and a happy Sunday to you!  I hope that you have been enjoying your weekend.  We had a great week - we were away to Calgary to visit with family, pick up our oldest (who had gone to stay with Grandma and Papa for nearly a week!) and to check out the Calgary Stampede.  Was a fun time all around, and today we are just taking it easy as tomorrow is back to work for all of us.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend.  Ours has been emotional, we lost my Grandfather on Friday. He was a good man, and he lived a good, long, wonderful life and was loved and respected by many. 

Today my hubby and our oldest son are in a soccer tournament (son is playing, hubby is coaching), tonight I am making his favourite ribs for supper and a new bean recipe (watch for the post tomorrow!).

Hello friends, I sure hope this Sunday morning finds you happy and healthy!  How has your weekend been?  Mine has been great - the weather has been awesome, I got to play with my kids, play in the garden, have a date with my hubby...life is good!  Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting some local ranchers, and this morning we are off to support some friends who's daughter has Juvenile Arthritis at the local Walk to Fight Arthritis.

Hello friends, Happy Sunday to you!

It's a long weekend here...Happy May long to all my Canadian friends!  We are enjoying lots of family time - yesterday we went to a parade, we've got BBQ's planned, visiting with family and friends, and so on.  Love long weekends!

I've had a super-busy month which is why I have been a bit M-I-A. It's my busy time at work...(my hubby is referring to himself as "Mr. Mom" these days as I'm at the office more than I am home it seems)...but once I get through the month of May, life will get back to normal...and blogging will too!  Thanks for hanging in with me :-)

Hello and good morning friends!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend. 

If you've been catching me on
Facebook at all this weekend, you know that I am in spring cleaning mode!  Who knew that children could accumulate so.much.clothing.  I've been flipping the closets from winter to summer, and putting away everything that the kids have outgrown.  

Hopefully the April showers stop tomorrow so that we can get the back patio cleaned and ready for next weekend...we've got a big birthday party coming!!

Hello everyone!  

I sure hope you are having a fantastic weekend!  For us, our two week spring break is just wrapping up. I think that our oldest had a lot of fun on his first-ever spring break.  We went on a road trip, headed east to see the sights and visit family.  And he also spent a week at a day camp, doing things like building paper airplanes to swimming to scavenger hunts.  He had a tonne of fun, and he was pretty tired by Friday evening.  Early to bed for the kiddos!

We are mid-way through spring break.  For those of you on break, how is yours going?  Are you and the kids having fun? Or are you counting down the days until the kids go back to school?
